After the blasting we found the petrol tank to be pretty much rusted out. So out it come ready for a rust free replacement.
The Summer Creative bus will be having a complete IRS conversion for better motorway cruising. So first up a pair of new IRS rails from Creative Engineering.

With the chassis all welded up it’s time for some protective paint before the floor and other panels go in.

The same repair is needed to the other side of the chassis on the Summer Creative bus. Solid once again.
The usual rusty spot behind the front axel gets the new metal treatment.
